I have noticed a disturbing new trend.

I spend a good amount of time on forums, gaining and distributeing information.I enjoy it and it is one of the few areas in life where I am being fulfiled on a regular basis. But starting about 2 months ago I noticed a trend that is still in effect to this day. When I initiate a new subject, sometimes it takes a few days, but many times its in as few as 20 minutes later, someone takes my subject and/or content and starts a new topic with it(a few times the subject was inverted, im not "so" upset about that, but it does folow the same pattern). In every instance that this has happened the new topic becomes popular and thrives, and "my" topic (in most cases more in depth than the imitator) withers and dies. Even when the two topics are sitting right next to each other!I have found that the pattern seems to be gaining momentum.

I have never experianced this before, and I find it very frustrateing.
